In 2005, Mara Urshel and Ronald Rothstein moved their bridal salon to a larger Manhattan location. Two years later, the owners said "I do" to a proposal from TLC to create a reality show built around Kleinfeld shoppers finding the perfect wedding gown with the assistance of the store's consultants and fitters.
